Last week, I was too busy crying over my pathetic high school experience and, consequently, fainting during my lunch breaks (iron deficiency gang, rise up!). But now, I’m finally here with the notes from my recent trip.
Even though my bio clearly states that I live in Prague, I get asked if I live in Mallorca at least once a week, and I can see where the confusion comes from.
I don’t live in Mallorca, though I used to—I spent almost six years there (2014–2020) and still return regularly for work.
Lately, my trips have been hectic, with work as my main priority. I spend most of my time in the office, and outside of that, I usually stick to my go-to spots.
This guide mainly focuses on Palma, where I stayed, but stay tuned—I’ll be covering more of the island in future Shoe Travel Guides.
I need to gatekeep a bit and save the true secrets for my beloved paid subscribers.
Talk soon!
DAY 1:
I arrive late on Tuesday afternoon, but just in time for a short trip outside of Palma. Thanks to my dear friends (and the wizards behind my favorite brand, ACF), I get to experience the charm of Valldemossa’s empty streets. If you take one thing from this post, let it be this: visit Mallorca in the winter. Summers here are mad.
